ITEM: The bright and vibrant petals of the tulip are a sign that spring has finally arrived and nature is ready to showcase its blooms. Though the flower is often associated with the sprawling tulip fields in the Netherlands, it actually originated in Turkey after being cultivated from Asia. Part of the lily family, the tulip has over 3000 different varieties to enjoy, with each color holding its own, unique meaning. The tulips i ture, curved stem is caused by its flower bud bending towards the nearest light source.
